Hi, I’m Ayoub — and this is The Useful File.

My name is Ayoub Mohammed Zahor Al-Khatry. I’m a graphic designer from Tanzania, and I’ve spent more than eight years making things that are clear, simple and genuinely useful.

I started The Useful File (الملف النافع) for one reason: too many everyday tasks, at work and at home, are harder than they need to be. A good ready-made file can give you back the hours you would spend building one yourself — so I design files that save time, simplify the work and help you move faster. The first is an Annual Budget Planner for Google Sheets, and I’ll add more, carefully, one at a time.

I like to think I bring a strong creative sense to this — I enjoy coming up with new ideas, and I’m good at it. Often a single fresh idea, added to a project at the right moment, is what moves it forward and makes it better. That’s the thinking I put into every file here.
