Terms of Sale

These terms explain how The Useful File digital products are sold, delivered, licensed, and supported.

Digital products

The Useful File sells ready-made digital files and templates. The Annual Budget Planner is a Google Sheets template designed to help organize income, spending, savings, debt, and net worth information.

Personal license

Each purchase includes a non-exclusive personal-use license for one person or household. Copyright remains with The Useful File. Commercial or client use requires separate written permission; a commercial license is not included.

  • You may copy the file for your own use.
  • You may adapt the file for your own needs. Modifying the file does not grant permission to resell or redistribute the original or modified version.
  • You may not resell, redistribute, share outside your household, upload publicly, or publish the file or access link, including modified versions.
  • You may not use the file for client work under a personal license.

Delivery and access

Purchases are completed through Gumroad. The Annual Budget Planner includes two PDF files: 01 - START HERE FIRST and 02 - COMPLETE USER GUIDE. Download them from the purchase confirmation or receipt link. The first PDF contains the link to create your own Google Sheets copy. A Google account with available storage and access to Google Sheets is required. Keep your receipt and save your copy in your Google Drive. Other products use the delivery format stated on their product page.

Refunds and support

Digital purchases are generally non-refundable for a change of mind after access or delivery. If files are missing or unusable, you were charged twice, or the product materially differs from its description, email support@theusefulfile.com with your order number, purchase email and a short explanation. We will review the issue and arrange a fix, replacement or appropriate refund through Gumroad. Please contact us within 14 days where possible; this does not limit any mandatory consumer rights or rights under applicable law and Gumroad policies.
