This page explains what information The Useful File collects, how it is used, and how our Google Sheets templates handle your data.
Last updated: October 12, 2026
The Useful File sells practical digital products, including Google Sheets templates such as the Annual Budget Planner. We aim to collect only what is needed to deliver your product, support your order, improve the store, and keep the service safe.
When you buy a product, request support, or contact us, we may receive information such as your name, email address, order details, payment status, and the message you send us.
You create the planner copy in your own Google account. You control its sharing settings. Buying the product does not require sending us your budget transactions or granting us editing access to your copy.
If you contact support, share only the information necessary to explain the problem. Redact sensitive financial information from screenshots. If a product feature requests Google authorization, review the permissions shown by Google before approving it.
Gumroad provides checkout and digital file delivery and processes purchase and payment information under its own privacy policy. Cloudflare hosts this website and may process technical information, such as IP addresses and request data, for delivery and security. Google provides Google Sheets and Drive under its own policies. Our email provider processes support correspondence. Provider policies also apply to information they collect directly. We keep order and support records for as long as reasonably needed for delivery, support, accounting, legal obligations or security. Do not send payment card details by email.
You can request access, correction or deletion of personal information we hold about you. We will handle requests subject to applicable law, identity verification and records we must retain. For data held directly by Gumroad or Google, contact the relevant provider.
